Terms of Service

1. Nature of Services

Tickket is a technology platform that provides:

• An event ticketing system for Organizers to sell tickets to Attendees.
• A voting management system for Organizers to run contests and pageants.

Important Disclaimer:

• We are NOT an event organizer, promoter, or creator.
• We are NOT a bank, financial institution, or insurance carrier.
• We act solely as a limited commercial agent for the Organizer for the purpose of collecting payments.

2. Paid Voting & Contests

• No Prize for Voters: Paying for a vote does not entitle the voter to any prize, return on investment, or financial gain.
• Non-Refundable: All votes cast are final and non-refundable, as the service (recording the vote) is executed immediately.
• Contest Integrity: The Organizer is solely responsible for the fairness, judging, and award distribution of the contest. Tickket is a neutral technology provider.

3. Payments, Settlements & Refunds

3.1 Settlements (T+2 Policy)

Tickket operates on a T+2 settlement cycle (Transaction date + 2 working days). Funds collected on behalf of an Organizer are settled to their verified bank account 48 hours after the transaction, subject to bank clearance times.

3.2 Refund Policy

In accordance with the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) of Nigeria:

• Before Settlement: If an event is cancelled or a valid dispute is raised before funds are settled to the Organizer, Tickket may facilitate a full refund to the Buyer.
• After Settlement: Once funds have been transferred to the Organizer, the Organizer assumes full liability for refunds. Tickket cannot refund money that is no longer in its custody. Buyers must contact the Organizer directly.

4. Account Security & Verification

To prevent fraud and comply with Nigerian financial regulations (KYC/AML):

• Organizers must provide valid bank account details that match their registration name.
• We reserve the right to suspend any account suspected of fraud, money laundering, or impersonation.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account details.

5. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Site to:

• Facilitate gambling, money laundering, or terrorist financing.
• Sell tickets for illegal events or non-existent services.
• Engage in "vote farming" or automated bot voting.
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person or group.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination and reporting to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) or other relevant authorities.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Tickket (including its directors, employees, and agents) shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, or punitive damages, including lost profit, lost data, or other damages arising from your use of the site.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
